Complete Nutrition

Nutrition is about more than just eating. It’s about choosing the right foods that make your body strong and healthy. Foods are filled with nutrients like vitamins, minerals, and proteins, which help your body grow, repair itself, and stay strong against diseases.

What are the Basics of Nutrition?

You can separate the nutrients your body needs into two categories: macronutrients and micronutrients. Our bodies need macronutrients in larger quantities and micronutrients in smaller amounts.

Each body is different, meaning they all need a custom mix of micro- and macronutrients to improve their nutritional health.

 Importance of a Balanced Diet

A balanced diet includes the right mix of different types of foods. Eating various fruits, vegetables, grains, and proteins gives your body all the nutrients it needs. It also means not eating too much sugar, salt, or fat. A balanced diet will help you stay healthy and full of energy!

Do I Need to See a Dietitian?

You don’t need a formal health diagnosis to see a dietitian. Our registered dietitians are here for any questions and concerns you have about nutrition and its effect on your health.

Nutritionists and Dietitians are both capable of helping people find a nutritious diet. However, a registered dietitian will have, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree, will have completed a DPD program, and, as of 2024, will have a Masters Degree.

Our registered dietitians possess extensive education and experience, enabling them to provide comprehensive insights into the impact of nutrition on the body. Moreover, they approach their work with deep empathy and personal understanding, acknowledging the unique challenges you may face on your journey. We prioritize respect for your individual experiences and are committed to supporting you every step of the way.

You can schedule with one of our registered dietitians any time. They’re available for any questions or concerns you may have about your nutrition and health.
