Is this Covered by Insurance?

Insurance companies may or may not cover medical nutrition therapy. You are responsible for checking insurance benefits and communicating with your insurance company about any reimbursement you may receive.

You may request a superbill which you may submit to insurance for reimbursement purposes. A superbill does not guarantee payment for services. Any insurance payments made to Dietitian Group LLC will have to be returned to be reprocessed.

If you submit to your insurance as an Out-of-Network service, you will need a referral from your medical provider. However, you do not require a referral if you are self-referring – paying yourself, not with insurance.

Please remember that Dietitian Group LLC does not provide any refunds, and it is up to you to verify coverage and out-of-pocket expenses.
