Ingredients

  • 1 cup water or unsweetened almond milk
  • 3/4 cup frozen berries such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2-1 cup frozen chopped spinach
  • 1/4 of an avocado
  • 1 scoop protein powder

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine the liquid of your choice, frozen berries, banana, spinach, avocado, and protein powder.

Notes

  • I used the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor of Gold Standard Whey protein powder for this recipe.
  • For a thicker and creamy texture, consider using frozen avocado and banana in this recipe.
  • Cleaning tip: After serving your smoothie, add water and dish soap to the blender and blend for about 30 seconds for a quick and effortless clean up.
